Neo-Techne: Art in the Age of the Machine is an exhibition highlighting the fusion of craft, skill, and technological ingenuity with the knowledge and inquiry that inform creative practice. Together, they reveal how diverse approaches to digital creation shape new artistic possibilities. In digital art, artists must both manipulate and understand complex systems to create meaningful work. Featuring Parin Heidari, Des Lucréce, William Mapan, Osinachi, and Claire Silver, these artists do not merely use digital tools— they understand, dissect, and often reinvent them, turning that knowledge into expressive, material outcomes whose messages spark curiosity and emotion.
Neo-Techne: Art in the Age of the Machine is organized by the Museum of Art + Light, in partnership with Iconic Moments and curated by Jori Louise Cheville, director of curatorial affairs.
